La société Virunga Energies vient de rétablir le courant électrique dans certains coins de Nyiragongo et Goma.
La direction générale de cette société vient de l’annoncé dans un communiqué. Ceci moins de 24 heures après qu’un tir, visiblement ciblant cette ligne, ait plongé Goma et Nyiragongo dans le noir.
Dans ce communiqué on peut lire que cette réparation est temporaire. Pour arriver à couvrir tous les besoins des ses clients, cette société indique qu’il sera urgent de rétablir toutes les deux lignes endommagées.
Cette annonce vient d’être accueillie en grande pompe par certains habitants de Goma. Yves KATEMBO, un habitant de cette ville se réjouit du rétablissement de l’électricité même si cela ne soit pas une solution définitive. Celui-ci profite pour remercier le saluer le professionnalisme des techniciens de cette société. « C’est déjà bien, nous n’avions plus d’espoir mais Virunga vient nous surprendre. Bravo aux techniciens qui sont professionnels. Cela devrait déjà interpeller la communauté internationale, ce qu’ont fait les M23 c’est un crime de guerre, on ne peut pas sanctionner tout un peuple de cette façon… » a dit Yves.
Signalons que la brève coupure du courant a joué sur les activités économiques de certains commerçants comme l’a témoigné madame Denise, gestionnaire d’une chambre froide négative.
