Le ministère provincial en charge des infrastructures, travaux publics et aménagement du territoire a récemment annoncé qu’il procéderait à des travaux de coupure de la route nationale N°2 à Bukavu, en raison de la pose d’une nouvelle canalisation par la direction régionale de la REGIDESO S.A. dans la province du Sud-Kivu.
Ces travaux seront effectués le Jeudi 6 Juin 2024, à partir de 8h, dans le tronçon du lycée Wima Sozam, également connu sous le nom de Yesu Yesu 2.
Si rien ne change, les travaux dureront environ 6 heures. Pendant toute la durée des travaux, la route sera fermée aux usagers, ce qui pourrait causer des désagréments pour les habitants de Bukavu et de la commune de Kadutu en particulier.
Le ministère comprend les inconvénients que ces travaux pourraient causer et s’excuse pour tout dérangement. Ainsi pour éviter les embouteillages et faciliter la circulation, il propose et invite les usagers à prendre des mesures alternatives et à emprunter d’autres voies de déviation. Celui-ci propose les voies place de l’indépendance – ancienne coopérative – carrefour – pas à pas où alors Major vangu – Essence – Maria kachelewa.
Notons que ces travaux visent à améliorer l’infrastructure et à assurer un approvisionnement en eau plus fiable pour les habitants de la région.
