Une structure sanitaire est sortie du lot et s’est distinguée par ses services quasi inhabituels qui vont d’elle l’une de meilleures structures des soins les plus enviées et les plus spécialisées dans un domaine. Cela non seulement au pays, mais aussi sur le plan continental.

L’Hôpital Général de Référence de Panzi, dirigé par le Dr Denis Mukwege, Prix Nobel de la Paix en 2018, est un centre de traitement holistique pour les survivants des violences sexuelles et d’autres femmes souffrant de fistules et de prolapsus. L’hôpital, situé à Bukavu, en République Démocratique du Congo, est connu pour son approche innovante et humanitaire dans la prise en charge de ces femmes.

L’hôpital Général de Référence de Panzi offre des soins gratuits à toutes ces femmes victimes, quel que soit leur situation financière. Cela signifie que même les femmes qui ne peuvent pas payer ne accederont aux soins essentiels.

L’hôpital comprend une équipe de psychologues hautement qualifiés, ainsi que des infirmières et des mamans spécialisés, qui travaillent ensemble pour fournir une prise en charge holistique aux patients.
