Deux jeunes hommes, âgés de 25 à 35 ans, ont été retrouvés sans vie le matin de ce vendredi 12 Avril 2024 vers 4h sur l’avenue Rwamichacha au quartier Kyeshero. Les corps, ligotés, portaient des traces de lapidation, selon les premières constatations.
L’un des deux jeunes a été identifié comme étant Patient Hamuli, un habitant du quartier Kyeshero. L’identité de l’autre victime n’a pas encore été établie. Les circonstances exactes du drame et les motivations des meurtriers restent floues. Les auteurs de cet acte ignoble ne sont pas encore identifiés.
Moïse Akilimali, président de la jeunesse de Kyeshero, a dénoncé l’insécurité grandissante dans le quartier et a appelé les autorités à prendre leurs responsabilités. Il a également évoqué la question des « wazalendo », ces individus qui se déguisent en agents de l’ordre pour commettre des forfaits. M. Akilimali a exhorté la population à rester vigilante et à alerter les services de sécurité en cas de situation suspecte.
Les autorités ont autorisé la levée des corps et une enquête a été ouverte pour déterminer les circonstances du drame et identifier les coupables. La population de Kyeshero espère que la lumière sera faite sur cette affaire et que les responsables seront traduits en justice.
Notons qu’une trentaine de présumés criminels bandits à mains armés ont été présenté à la mairie ce jeudi 11Avril 2024 avec Armes à feu et 6 Militaires dont deux wazalendo.
