GOMA : Lutte contre l’insalubrité, un combat quotidien

Dans une ville de Goma en pleine expansion, l’assainissement devient un défi de plus en plus difficile à relever. Avec près de 2 millions d’habitants, la production de déchets ne cesse d’augmenter, et les services de la mairie s’activent chaque jour pour maintenir la ville propre.

Dans le cadre des travaux communautaires organisés chaque samedi matin jusqu’à 10h, Au pic de l’info  a envoyé ses reporters le samedi dernier 24 février à Birere, plus précisément à Joli Hôtel, à la Mosquée Birere et sur la route menant vers l’aéroport international de Goma pour constaté le fait, sur place, des points noirs d’insalubrité où les habitants s’empressent de déposer leurs immondices.

 

Heureusement, l’espoir est permis. Des camions de la mairie étaient présents sur place pour évacuer les déchets accumulés. Sourire aux lèvres, une vendeuse installée à Birere, près de Joli Hôtel, ne cache pas sa satisfaction :

« Je suis vraiment contente de voir que les camions sont venus ramasser les immondices. C’était devenu invivable ici, avec les odeurs et les risques de maladies. Vraiment, merci à la mairie pour ce travail important. »

Un sentiment de soulagement partagé par de nombreux habitants qui aspirent à vivre dans un environnement sain, si la mairie continue.

Cependant, le défi est loin d’être gagné. La sensibilisation des populations reste un élément crucial pour un changement durable de comportement. Il est important que chaque citoyen s’implique dans la lutte contre l’insalubrité en adoptant des gestes éco-responsables et en respectant les consignes de la mairie.

Grégoire MUTATSHI WA MATSHI, Coordonnateur du service de l’assainissement à la mairie de GOMA, appelle la population à bien gérer les déchets ménagers afin de rendre propre la ville de GOMA.

Des associations et des organisations communautaires s’activent sur le terrain pour sensibiliser les populations, mettre en place des systèmes de collecte et de traitement des déchets, et promouvoir des pratiques d’hygiène durable.

« C’est ensemble, en conjuguant les efforts de tous, que Goma pourra relever le défi de l’assainissement et offrir à ses habitants un cadre de vie sain et agréable » poursuit le coordonnateur du service urbain de l’assainissement.

Notons que les chercheurs environnementalistes estiment que d’ici 2050, les déchets plastiques risquent d’être en grand nombre que les poissons le lac, ainsi occasionner la disparition des plusieurs animaux aquatiques.

  172. Abnormal this put up is totaly unrelated to what I was searching google for, but it surely used to be listed at the first page. I suppose your doing one thing proper if Google likes you adequate to place you at the first page of a non similar search.
