Des combats opposent 5 heures 30 minutes de ce Mercredi 07 Février 2024, les Jeunes résistants dits wazalendo aux rebelles du M23/RDF sur des collines surplombant la cité de Sake, dans le groupement Kamuronza, chefferie des Bahunde en territoire de Masisi au Nord-Kivu.
À en croire des sources concordantes, les rebelles du M23/RDF ont lancé des attaques sur les positions des résistants dits wazalendo dans la zone de Kagoma dans la localité de Malehe et vers la localité de Murambi/Neenero à environ une dizaine de kilomètres de Sake.
Sur un autre front, on signale également des affrontements entre les FARDC et les mêmes rebelles aux alentours de Karuba. Toutefois, cette entité demeure entre les mains des rebelles du M23 tout comme Shasha dans le groupement Mupfunyi shanga.
Il sied de signaler que deux bombes larguées par les M23 viennent de tomber près du camp de la Monusco à Kihuli au niveau de 3 Antennes.
