Dans une rencontre passionnée avec une centaine de jeunes à Goma, le dimanche 4 juin 2023, Fabrice Muhangi, un jeune militant du parti politique Mouvement Social (MS), a dévoilé les plans d’implantation de nouveau ce parti dans la ville. Cette rencontre avait pour objectif d’informer les jeunes sur les actions entreprises par le Mouvement Social dans le pays, tout en appelant à une adhésion massive à leur cause vu les élections qui pointent à l’horizon.
Dans son allocution, Fabrice Muhangi a exhorté les jeunes à se joindre au parti en soulignant que le Mouvement Social est connu pour sa formation des grands leaders politiques au pays, contribuant ainsi au développement du pays. Avec les élections prévues d’ici décembre 2023, il est essentiel que la population choisisse des représentants capables de défendre les intérêts du peuple.
« Nous sommes venus sensibiliser la population de Goma pour rappeler que notre parti existe et qu’il cherche à apporter un changement au pays », a déclaré Muhangi. « Nous avons des jeunes leaders et des personnes expérimentées. Nous les appelons à prêter main-forte au parti afin de progresser ensemble. »
Le Mouvement Social, autrefois connu sous le nom de MSR, était la deuxième force politique de la République lors des élections de 2006, 2011 et 2018. Cependant, ces derniers temps, le parti a connu un déclin. C’est pourquoi les membres du parti ont entrepris des consultations et ont reçu un accueil chaleureux de la part de nombreux citoyens, ce qui les a encouragés à réimplanter le parti à Goma.
« Nous rappelons à la population que le Mouvement Social a été créé par des membres de la société civile qui connaissent les problèmes auxquels la population est confrontée, ainsi que l’évolution du pays », a expliqué Muhangi. « C’est pourquoi nous sommes venus à Goma pour conaincre la jeunesse à embrasser notre parti, qui a formé de grands leaders tels que le ministre de l’Enseignement supérieur et universitaire MUHINDO NZANGI BUTONDO, ainsi que d’autres personnalités éminentes. Les jeunes courageux et ambitieux sont les bienvenus s’ils choisissent d’adhérer à notre parti. »
Le Mouvement Social, cher à Pierre Lumbi Okongo, vise à retrouver sa position de deuxième force politique du pays. Son implantation à Goma marque une étape cruciale dans leur stratégie pour rallier les jeunes et restaurer l’influence et l’importance du parti.
Notons que ce parti a une vision claire, celle de l’avenir avec une détermination sans faille la politique, le Mouvement Social aspire à rassembler tous les efforts nécessaires pour se rétablir et devenir une force politique majeure qui représente véritablement les aspirations de la population.
