RDC/Sécurité: Est-ce que l’EAC peut compter encore sur la RDC?

Le pays dit scandale géologique vient de boycotter le treizième exercice de poste de commandement de l’EAC qui commence ce dimanche 18 juin et qui iront jusqu’à la fin de ce mois.

Cette activité qu’on a désigné « Ushirikiano imara 2023 » (Ndrl Partenariat solide 2023) devrait réunir tous les 7 Etats membres de cette organisation sous régionale à Musanze au Rwanda mais ne voit que la participation de 5. L’absent de taille qui est aussi le plus jeune adhérant reste la RDC.

Le porte-parole du contingent Ougandais a noté lors du lancement de ces exercices que ces derniers visent le renforcement des capacités des pays membres dans la lutte contre le terrorisme et le maintien de la paix.

« Renforcer quelle capacité alors que ce sont les-mêmes qui nourrissent le terrorisme » a dit Abdoul un habitant de Goma en faisant allusion au soutien du Rwanda aux éléments du M23.

A lui de se questionner sur la présence de la RDC dans l’EAC.

« Que fait concrètement la Republique Démocratique du Congo dans ce regroupement des pays de l’Afrique de l’Est? Quel est notre intérêt ici quand ce sont ces memes Etats bidons qui nous agressent? »

Par ce boycott on peut comprendre que la RDC boude toute occasion qui peut la réunir avec son frère et voisin ennemi.

Depuis qu’il s’est avéré du soutien de Kigali aux terroristes du M23, les deux Etats se sont lancés dans une guerre de communication par tous les moyens. L’un pour accuser et dénoncer la l’indifférence de la communauté internationale qui peut être qualifiée de complicité, l’autre pour se justifier en et rejeter en bloc les accusations de son voisin.

Jusqu’où ira cette guerre qui se joue sur tous les terrains: d’abord sur les lignes de front puis sur plan diplomatique et maintenant par des boycotts?
