Le verdict est tombé ce lundi 09 octobre, dans le dossier qui oppose les adeptes d’une église des Wazalendo, à la base de ce qui est qualifié comme « carnage » du 30 août dernier et l’état congolais. Espoir Ngalukiye, un cadre du parti politique Ensemble pour la République et candidat à la députation nationale en ville de Goma, évoque une « justice inique ».
L’acteur politique dit avoir assisté avec « regret, amertume et colère », à la condamnation des personnes arrêtées lors des incidents mortels du 30 août. « Ephraim Bisimwa et ses compagnons de lutte, viennent d’être victimes de l’injustice », explique-t-il.
Pour lui, « la justice est rendue contre le peuple congolais et contre les victimes » alors que l’ensemble de la population ne s’attendait qu’à la libération pure et simple de toutes ces personnes, qui étaient détenues après le mercredi sombre, qui a plongé Goma dans le noir.
« Les victimes de carnage sont considérées au même titre que les bourreaux, au même titre que ceux qui ont exécuté« , regrette Espoir Ngalukiye du fait que « tous ceux qui étaient dans cette opération de triste mémoire, n’ont jamais été condamnés », s’attriste ce cadre d’Ensemble pour la République.
Tout en réitérant l’exigence de la libération de toutes ces personnes condamnées, Espoir Ngalukiye invite les avocats d’interjetter appel contre ce « jugement qui est inique, inhumain et dégradant ».
Signalons ici qu’Ephraïm Bisimwa et certains de ses compagnons ont hérité de la peine de mort alors que d’autres, leurs peines varient entre dix et vingt ans de prison.
