L’ancien président américain de 77 ans, a annoncé le dimanche soir sur Truth Social, qu’il comptait être présent aux plaidoiries d’ouverture. C’est devant la cour suprême de l’Etat de New York, où il est cité comme témoin.

Ce lundi 2 octobre 2023, s’ouvre le procès civil de Donald Trump et de deux de ses enfants, accusés d’avoir gonflé de manière colossale pendant des années leurs actifs immobiliers. Un aperçu préliminaire des procès à venir

D’après www.bfmtv.com, Donald Trump est inculpé au pénal dans quatre lourds dossiers différents qui n’ont pour l’instant pas entamé sa popularité auprès de la base républicaine. A partir du 04 mars 2024, il doit comparaitre devant un tribunal fédéral de Washington. Il est accusé d’avoir tenté depuis la Maison Blanche d’inverser le résultat de la présidentielle de 2020 remportée par Joe Biden. Il aura ensuite rendez-vous avec la justice de l’Etat de New York pour des fraudes comptables, puis en Floride pour sa gestion négligente de documents confidentiels après son départ de la présidence.

Le procès qui s’ouvre ce lundi 2 octobre 2023, a brusquement pris un enjeu considérable la semaine dernière lorsque le Juge Arthur Engoron, qui le préside, a estimé que des « fraudes répétées » étaient établies et que le parquet général de l’Etat de New York avait d’ores et déjà démontré que Donald Trump et l’état-major de son groupe avaient « surévalué » leurs actifs entre 812 millions et 2,2 milliards de dollars de 2014 à 2021.

Quelques sanctions contre Trump

Le média en ligne www.20minutes.fr fait savoir que Donald Trum ne peut pas être condamné à la prison dans cette affaire, mais le procès va offrir un avant-goût des échéances judiciaires susceptibles de perturber sa campagne pour l’investiture républicaine. En conséquence, le juge en ordonné ce qui suit :

Le retrait des licences commerciales ordonné par le juge.

La confiscation des sociétés visée par la plainte.

L’impact important sur la capacité de Trump à faire des affaires à New York.

La perte de contrôle sur la Trump Tower et d’autres propriétés.

Les réclamations de violations de lois financières et demande d’une amende de 250 millions de dollars.

Le procès de Donald Trump soulève des questions cruciales sur la responsabilité des dirigeants africains. Quels sont les obstacles spécifiques qui empêchent les dirigeants africains et congolais de comparaître dans des procès liés à des affaires lourdes comme celui de Trump ?
