L’explosion démographique de la population en province du Nord-Kivu en général et en particulier dans la ville de Goma, a des conséquences énormes sur la distribution d’eau potable.
Depuis plusieurs années la Régie de distribution d’eau au Nord-Kivu comme beaucoup d’autres entreprises publiques, a toujours eu des difficultés liées au financement et de partenaires de mauvaise volonté qui ne veulent pas le développement de la RDC , en amenant de matériels de mauvaise qualité en terme de partenariat, malgré la bonne volonté et sacrifice de la Regideso pour rendre disponible l’eau potable à la population Congolaise.
Selon les sources de la Regideso en province, elle ne parvient pas à répondre au besoin de consommateurs de son produit car Sur 100 000 Mètres cubes qu’elle devrait fournir à ses clients chaque jour, elle ne fournis que 35 000 mètres cubes par jour. Cette situation l’oblige à chercher d’autres alternatives notamment le partage de peu de mètres cubes produits à tout le Monde, une alternative qui ne reste pas aussi sans conséquence car des coupures en eau s’observent dans certains coins de la ville durant quelques heures pendant que les autres sont entrain d’etre servi .
Mais quelles sont des nouvelles perspectives et initiatives pour répondre au besoin de la population qui est les consommateurs de produits de la Regideso?
Pour répondre à cette question, la Rédaction de au pic de l’infos après avoir fait le constant dans la communauté et trouvé que c’est un besoin réel, elle est allée à la rencontre du Directeur provincial de la Regideso Mr David ANGOYO.
Ce dernier nous a prouvé la volonté et détermination qu’il a depuis qu’il est à la tête de cette entreprise publique au Nord-Kivu et partout où il est passé de changer les choses, malgré les dédis. Il a évoqué notamment le Plan Directeur qui est en étude et que l’année 2023 est une année de travail et de grandes réalisations dans son secteur de distribution d’eau à la population du Nord-Kivu.
« S’il faut satisfaire toute cette population là il faut la question aussi de l’énergie pour répondre à ce besoin et améliorer nos services car nous avons une production inferieur par rapport à cette démographie explosive et face aussi à la présence de déplacés qui sont venus de Rutshuru et Nyiragongo , ces défis nécessitent de moyens important en terme de financement pour installer de nouvelles machines, il faut de travaux de tuyauterie, mais du moins la ville est en train d’évoluer parce qu’il ya une étude de projections qui tient en compte de toute cette problématique (Plan directeur) Ce plan précède les aménagements hydraulique pour répondre à une vision lointaine et ce plan lointain prend en compte la démographie et les aménagements qu’il faut développer suivant de phases.
Je crois que cette année, si les résultats sont là on pourra les communiquer à la population, ça va faciliter parce que nous connaissons le portefeuille, nous connaissons les actions qu’il faut mener, et le coût de ces actions qu’il faut mener pour sa réalisation. Nous essayons tous de suivre la situation de prêt et de chercher à plaider afin de cheminer vers l’atteinte de l’objectif ou projection à moyen ou long terme et c’est ça qui va aider à développer les infrastructures et favoriser rapidement un accès très large à nos populations beaucoup plus de Karisimbi mais aussi de Goma pour améliorer les conditions d’accès de fourniture en eau potable à Karisimbi et Nyiragongo » a poursuivi David ANGOYO Directeur Provincial de la Régideso.
Notons que la Regideso a été créée le 30 décembre en 1939 par un arrêté Royal avec plusieurs missions.
